My G-20 Rant

If you believe in something, show your face and own it. Don't be a chickenshit and wear a mask.

Don't come to my town and throw rocks and cost the many local businesses more money. The G-20 Summit isn't an excuse to be a common vandal - no point can be made and you won't be taken seriously if you vandalize.

You don't have to believe me - if you think you're trying to make the world a better place, take an example from the Dalai Lama. His voice is louder than your rocks.

I quite agree, Sue. Pittsburgh is only the location not the representative. Narrow minded people often can not think outside of their own agendas and see that respect is what is called for even when your agenda or beliefs differ.
Trying to catch flies with vinegar gets them more press, I bet, but it's negative press... kinda defeats the purpose.

New Enamel Beads Listed

I just listed a bunch of enameled beads in the SueBeads etsy store. I'm going to be taking a week off. I'm going to leave the shop open, so if you purchase anything from the 10th - 18th of July, they will mail on the 19th! Thanks so much for your patience!

The Tacky Earring Blog Hop

Diana Ptaszynski had a great idea, instead of a Tacky Christmas Sweater blog hop, a Tacky Holiday Earring blog hop! I was on it.  I had ideas right away.  I had so many I had to control myself.  You can buy these for $15 each, too!  Here we go!

I found these awesome wreaths in the miniature Christmas section in Michaels, and they go perfectly with silver and copper colored plastic beads!

These trees were found in Michaels, on an end-cap - I assume they are scrapbook or card making supplies, but make fantastic earrings.  The holes were a little small and far down, so I had to make LARGE loops.  Paired these with cute little gold colored jingle bells!

And, finally, the ones I had in my head the moment she announced the blog hop.  Dr. Seuss sparkly puff balls with ribbons.  The only thing that would have made these better for me is if I could have found the red ribbons I really wanted to pair these with - don't get me wrong, the silver is cool and all, but in my head they were red.
