Growing In My Yard

These very strange mushrooms are growing in my yard right now! They are growing in a spot where there used to be a pin oak - I am assuming these are some sort of wood mushrooms growing out of the roots. Weird!

They look great, the colour is super! Here, in Ireland they would say that the fairies visited your garden and left behind a magical ring! :):):)
Lots of love, Sanda xx

I like them. I think you should use the colours as bead inspiration. Just don't eat them!

You should create mushroom beads--that would really be different!

Sue, we had some big patches like that after all the rain lately. When they got done being all mushroomy they turned into something like alien brains ... I hope yours don't do that. But I'm glad you said they are wood mushrooms, because I had no idea.

Hopefully the rainy season is over for a week or so!

September Component of the Month - Zombee with Laney Mead

This month it was Laney's turn to provide the Component of the Month, and she made these cute little Zombees!  I did not take a photo ...
