New Beads For BeadFest

I have some new beads ready to go for BeadFest this year that I didn't have last year - I hope you stop by Booth 463 and see me!

Lots of flowers! Embossed Beads! Pixie Discs! Ruffle Discs! Birds!

New Beads Listed Today!

Finally, I got around to listing some new beads in the etsy store! Take a look - there are some Halloweenie type beads for you to enjoy!

Another quick post!

I know, I'm on a roll today. Even though I got a late start, I've made beads, made posts, done some scrabble tiles, now I have to fold some laundry and think about dinner. Just wanted to post a photo and link to the ebay auction of mine that started last night - I like the beads, they have a southwest feel and would make a fantastic focal piece in a bracelet, or a whole bracelet too! You can click on them to go to the auction!

New Beads in Etsy Shop!

Hi everyone - I posted some new bead pairs in the etsy shop. Good for making earrings, especially if you are going to be making a lot of your holiday gifts this year! I guess I will be too! I think these cobalt beads are really pretty - the contrast between the cobalt and the turquoise is striking! You can click on the pic, and go to the shop!

New Beads on Etsy!

Whew - that was a busy weekend. My son takes tang soo do, and on Saturday he did his recertification test for his second cho-dan patch for his black belt. He has been doing this for five years, and last year at this time was when he received his black belt (at 9 years old!). Next year at this time, hopefully, he will be getting his e-dan patch! Yay for you S. My daughter went on a "cabin camping" trip to Ohiopyle with her school Trailblazers club and apparently had a great time because she came home exhausted. Thanks to my friend, Tod, who so graciously offered to pick her up - what a guy! Then, we had some friends over for dinner and had a really nice time! Early this morning, get up for Sunday school. It's cloudy, so it's a good day to have a lazy day!

There are some new beads up on etsy - some swirly ones and a pair of chinese lantern beads but in the lentil shape. Check them out! Oh, yeah, don't forget to take my poll to the right - I would like to know what si…

New Focal on Etsy!

If you like focal beads, here's one for you! It's new on etsy - a teal raku bead that measures 25x22 mm and was wound on a 3/32" mandrel, it comes with two teal spacer beads as well. You can always ask for more, too - I'm happy to make more beads! You can click on it to go right to it in my etsy shop!

New on Etsy

Here's a new bead in my etsy store - a Halloween style large hole bead! Measures 15mm wide, 7mm high with a 5mm hole. Enjoy! You can click it to get there!

New Beads on Etsy, Auction on Ebay!

Hi everyone! Happy Labor Day! Hope you all had a good holiday weekend! I have some new beads in my etsy shop, and an auction up on ebay. I hope to have more on ebay soon; summer is so slow, it just isn't a good time to sell on ebay! Take a look at my beads! Thanks! Oh yeah, school starts tomorrow! Wahoo!

Large Hole Beads now Active!

I finally had a lesson from the Engineer, and now I can add my own beads and photos to my web site! How about that? Now you can purchase nine different styles of beads in the large hole version - by large hole, I mean approx. 5mm bead hole that should be able to fit on Pandora, Troll, etc. You can also string them on leather or ball chains. Fun! I'll be adding more as soon as I complete my outstanding bead orders, and get some time to play with glass when the kids get back to school next week. Who else is excited for school!?!?!??!

New Large Hole Beads

Hopefully, I'll figure out how to get them on my web site by the weekend, so you can start ordering. Today, I'll just offer you a little eye candy - glacier and wisteria large hole beads! These are made with Bullseye glass!

Large Hole Beads

I've been making some larger hole beads for a client of mine who makes beaded dog leads - a really cool idea - and I thought I'd share some photos. These will be available on my website (suebeads.com) and I will be making many of my designer beads in this style. The hole measures almost 5mm and is perfect for those pandora, biagi, troll, etc., bracelets. They also look great on the necklaces, or on ball-chain necklaces too. Even leather! If you have a suggestion for another style, let me know! At first they were hard, but now I'm really liking making them! I do spacers in this size, too!

New Beads on Etsy!

I have two new small sets of beads on etsy - this is a photo of one of them! Click on the pic if you want to buy it - or just check out what else I have on etsy!

Buy Beads and Stand Up 2 Cancer

For the month of August, all bead sales will result in a $1.00 donation to standup2cancer.org. Right now, the U.S. is choosing to spend our money on things other than research into illness and disease. Europe does quite well in this arena; however, US doctors are on the verge of discovering treatments and cures for many diseases, cancer among them. Since I am a cancer survivor, I have decided that for the month of August, for each bead sale, I will donate $1.00 to Stand Up 2 Cancer, an organization collecting money to fund cancer research in the US. Please help me make a large donation by buying my beads on etsy, ebay and on my web site! This is a photo of some beads available on etsy!

New Beads on Etsy!

Well, those beads went pretty quickly, too! Good thing I've been busy making bead pairs for etsy - I have a few listed now, as well as some large hole beads that will fit your Pandora style bracelets! Check them out! I'm also planning on donating $1.00 from each sale of my beads in August to Stand Up 2 Cancer, which I'll be posting about within the next few days. Some of you may not know that I am a cancer survivor - I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 5 years ago. Although with this type of cancer, I never get to say I am "cured", I have been fine since my surgery and radiation and really hope to be fine for the rest of my life!

Beads up on Etsy and Ebay

Hey - just an FYI - beads are now up on etsy and ebay! Take a look - you know you want to! They're pretty cool, if you ask me. I had fun making them, and I hope it shows! Here's some pics!

My kids are off to DC and I am going to Niagara Falls tomorrow - no bead making until Sunday for me - but I have this creative energy that I can't wait to use up! I love to make beads when my kids are with their dad, because I can have uninterrupted creative time!

Hope you all have a great weekend and feel like buying beads!

Beads on SueBeads Etsy and my weekend trip!

Hi - I am back making beads! It's hard when the kids are home from school all summer - I'm lucky to get a couple hours in, in the morning, before the asking and fighting begins! Here's a new set I put up on my etsy site tonight - hopefully I'll be getting more pairs and small sets up there soon. I'll also have a couple auctions going up on ebay tomorrow night. I like to list on Thursdays and Sundays! I'm going to Niagara Falls this weekend - I've never been there! Can you believe it? I live in Pennsylvania! The kids are going to DC with their dad - they should have fun too. It will be nice that all the storms have finally passed! I hope you all have a great weekend, too!

Back on the 'Bay!

Hey - I'm back! We had a great vacation! If the Engineer gets my pics off my camera, I have tons to post of Alaska! In the meantime, enjoy the eye candy of my auctions I just listed on ebay! The first one pictured is called Gaia and the next one is Gaia - I love it! Also, please see my web site - the beads in the magazine and my catalog! Happy Fourth!

Quick Post - Sale on Etsy!

Just a quick post today to let you know that my earring bead pairs and spacer bead sets are $1.00 off in my etsy shop, until Thursday. That's when they go away. They'll probably end up on ebay as sets. Get 'em now! These are a set of beads I made from a recycled Beaujolais wine bottle - of course, I drank the wine first!
