Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who has commented so far on my "crisis of confidence!" I won't be doing the sale, I already pretty much told them. I was invited to sell at the Holiday Sale so I think my strategy is to go on Saturday, see what's what, and decide then if I can hold my head up and sell with some really great lampwork artists!

Remember that ketchup song from the 70's (yes, dating myself, ohwell!)? That's how you should say this word. I was going to sell at the Pittsburgh Glass Center this weekend, until I received an email and saw who I would be sitting next to - Mike Mangiafico, Karen Leonardo, Diana Dugina-Reibling... I decided not to do it. I think it may have been a mistake, but I already told them I'm not coming. I have a new friend who has an artist husband; she told me he says my stuff is good! My other friends have told me my stuff is good. Why don't I feel that way? I don't know. But it's a new challenge for me, to figure this out! Thanks for listening!

Free Shipping in SueBeads Etsy Store

Pretty Photo for you, Diamond Waterfall in St. Lucia

For Mother's Day, I am offering free shipping in the SueBeads etsy store, until May 9th, my birthday! I was actually born on Mother's Day!!! What a gift! :} The only thing is, I don't feel like changing over 60 listings, so just wait for a revised invoice to pay! OR I will be happy to refund shipping if you forget!

Today has been pretty much like yesterday - bank, BB&B, make beads, eat lunch, use de-piller on the karate dobok (sp?) that I got at BB&B, move buttons on my daughter's uniform kilt, plant some plants, dishes, get dinner in the crockpot, etc. While I'm not done yet - I have to make some earrings with my beads for the Pittsburgh Glass Center Sale on May 9th, I did sit outside to move the buttons and boy, is it nice!!! I love this weather, and getting some alone time before the craziness starts again at 4pm.

Oh yeah, I wanted to mention, my daughter has been taking a class at the Glass Center…

YAY!

Yay - I found out there was a cancellation in the Flamecicles Class at the Pittsburgh Glass Centeron Sunday - so I get in! I have always wanted to make those pretty icicle ornaments, but reading a tut didn't really do much for me! Here, I get to see how exactly and make them myself! I'm excited I got in! Hopefully my daughter will return the camera she borrowed from me, and I can post some pictures! This is a picture of the glass center, located in the Friendship neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
