Sue Beads

Lorelei has been a jewelry making machine lately, and everything she makes is just amazing! So I am doing a small bit of shameless self promotion here when I show you her latest and give you a link to her shop! She made these earrings and a bracelet out of beads I sent her made from a really cool glass from Moretti. It gives a peacock shimmer when you very gently reduce it. It's really striking and I think Lorelei did an amazing job of pairing the beads with the fringe chain! Thanks for making my beads look so fantastic, Lorelei!

Do you know Jade Scott? She makes these wonderful hand-poured, hand forged silver/copper and resin and paper pendants. I love them - I found out about them from some things that Lorelei made. She contacted me last week and wondered if I would do a trade with her. She didn't need to ask twice! I sent her some beads she wanted from my etsy store, and she sent me these two pendants that I was drooling over. I love them! Of course, I didn't do justice to the pendants with my picture. I did take it outside, however, it is cloudy here today and I took it on white paper which wrinkled up when I opened the front door. Oh well - I never said I was a photographer. Maybe I should take a class? Did I mention that before?

I made this bracelet maybe 1 1/2 months ago - hoping to list it in the bellahannahjane store, but haven't done so yet. Today, my internet friend Lorelei posted this bracelet, Coral Belle, in her etsy store - it's beautiful! Although they aren't exactly the same, the idea is the same which is why I say great minds think alike! Mine is made from twisted ebony wood beads, button pearls, a (faux) cinnabar focal and a clasp from Rocki!

Lorelei created these earrings with beads from my etsy store - Forest Green Ivory Sparkles. Aren't they great! I love the components she used to make them dangle. Unfortunately, they are already reserved for someone to purchase. However, you can buy the beads in my etsy store for a mere $8.00 and make yourself some earrings, too.

My new friend Lorelei and I participated in a trade recently; I sent her some beads and she sent me a beautiful necklace! You can read about it here. Over the weekend, Lorelei got the beading bug and made a bunch of beautiful pieces with my beads. The first bracelet is sold already, but you can click on the other three (earrings above and necklace and last bracelet below) in case you want to buy them! She really does such unique work - she has a style all her own! I really like it. It's earthy, organic, and peaceful to me. I really like how she combines different elements to bring them together as a beautiful piece of jewelry.

I recently did a trade with Lorelei Eurto (click the link to go to her blog!). It was the first trade I ever did - it was fun! I picked out a necklace from her shop, and she had two specific bead sets in mind that she wanted of mine. The first photo is of the necklace I chose from her shop, and the next two photos are the beads that she chose! The neckalce is beautiful and incredibly well-made - I highlly recommend her!
