AJE Component of the Month - Francesca Watson

This month the Art Jewelry Elements Component of the Month was made by Francesca Watson.  Francesca is a very sweet person who makes beautiful jewelry.  This month she made the enameled discs with silver accents for us to use in our creations!  I made a bracelet this time, this is not the first one I made either!  I had something in mind and it wasn't coming out the way it was supposed to, so I put it down.  I let it percolate a little bit and finally the design happened!  I'm using ebony twisted wood beads and three of my own lampwork beads, separated by sweet little silver heishe spacers.  Stop over at AJE to see what everyone else made!

Oh Sue! The enamel with your beads - gorgeous. I like the wood as a more neutral partner - the glass, and colors really sing!

I love this bracelet. Your lampwork beads mimic the color in the disc/pendant perfectly. And I love the darkness of the twisted wood beads. They really make your lampwork and the disc pop.
Oh my gosh! Those lampwork beads are STUNNING!! And I love the ebony twists - makes the pinks really pop. Such a great job!!

This is really pretty Sue, I love those wooden beads and they contrast beautifully with the raspberry tones of your beads and the enamel.

Ooooo, your colors are gorgeous! I love the contrast between the luminous lampies and enamel with the matte, dark wood. Wonderful!

I like how this came together, Sue. Those discs looked like fun to work with!
I love how you have colour-blocked the beads in your design, Sue... I think the wood adds a lot of drama to the bracelet.

The Tacky Earring Blog Hop

Diana Ptaszynski had a great idea, instead of a Tacky Christmas Sweater blog hop, a Tacky Holiday Earring blog hop! I was on it.  I had ideas right away.  I had so many I had to control myself.  You can buy these for $15 each, too!  Here we go! I found these awesome wreaths in the miniature Christmas section in Michaels, and they go perfectly with silver and copper colored plastic beads! These trees were found in Michaels, on an end-cap - I assume they are scrapbook or card making supplies, but make fantastic earrings.  The holes were a little small and far down, so I had to make LARGE loops.  Paired these with cute little gold colored jingle bells! And, finally, the ones I had in my head the moment she announced the blog hop.  Dr. Seuss sparkly puff balls with ribbons.  The only thing that would have made these better for me is if I could have found the red ribbons I really wanted to pair these with - don't get me wrong, the silver is cool and all, but in my head they w
