Hi Sue,
Thanks for the great compliments! One of the greatest things about working at Artful Home is getting to see all this beautiful work. It is amazing to see it in person! Right now we are also getting to play Santa's elf with the ornament-a-day giveaway. You might want to check that out online at artfulhome.com. Again, many thanks!

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the compliments. One of the best things about working at Artful Home is seeing all this gorgeous work in person - especially the artist made ornaments this time of year. And, we get to play elf right now with the ornament-a-day giveaway. You should go check it out at artfulhome.com. Again, thanks a lot.

Art Elements February Theme Challenge - Birds of Prey

Cathy Mendola chose Birds of Prey for the theme this month, and it's a pretty awesome theme. You are going to see some amazing work by my team members and the guests who have participated this month! I had plans of doing more than I did, as indicated by the purchases I made for the projects I had in my head. However, I have been doing some work in my house, so whenever time permitted, meaning after work and weekend hours, we were pretty much doing the room renovations. One of them is going to be my study/studio, and I seem to be foiled at every move by trying to get some work tables. So I have only one small project to show you this month.  But first, the purchases! This first Bali carved owl totem I got from fifirosedesigns on etsy - I wanted to make a mold and make my own cabochon to use in a necklace. However, I really did get around to doing that. So, I purchased the owl heads below. These owl head cabochons are from ArtisticVariations84 on etsy - they are just fantast

Art Elements Theme of the Month - January - Use Your Stash

Usually I'm so much better about the January Use Your Stash Challenge (hosted by Lindsay Starr this time), but this year, time is just not my friend. Between the holidays, going away on vacation, and getting back to work and trying to make new beads, there's just not a lot left in me at the end of the day.  But I did manage to get this pair of earrings made using Inviciti heart charms, some new metal spacer beads I just got, and some titanium hematite beads picked up at a Bead Fest here and there! I really like them, mostly because they are simple and hearts are my thing!  Check out what everyone else made! Thanks for stopping by!
