Ears to You!

Amy Taylor Freeland is hosting a blog hop - linkup for a charity called Ears to You.   They are especially looking for earrings for tween/teen patients.  Here's what I made!

Ears To You® is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and our mission is to provide hope and joy through the donation and distribution of beautiful earrings to women and girls with cancer of any type.

These earrings:
  • brighten a patient's day with a little bling when she needs a little lift
  • create a distraction from the IV's, worries and fears and allow her to do something fun  
  • help women and girls feel more "normal" and beautiful at a time when they are adjusting to hair loss
     
  • provide hope and help her think positively  
  • give encouragement from a survivor       
     
  • are provided at no cost to the patient

I think long earrings are still very popular! I can see those ones with chain looking great with a prom dress or a pair of jeans.

Puppies!

I just had to include this photo of my friend Beth's new puppies. They are 11 week old Jack Russell Terriers. The smaller one is the runt of the litter, but too cute. They are Libby and Lucy!!! Click on the photo to see them bigger!

Another quick post!

I know, I'm on a roll today. Even though I got a late start, I've made beads, made posts, done some scrabble tiles, now I have to fold some laundry and think about dinner. Just wanted to post a photo and link to the ebay auction of mine that started last night - I like the beads, they have a southwest feel and would make a fantastic focal piece in a bracelet, or a whole bracelet too!
