September Component of the Month - Kristi Bowman-Gruel

Yep, gonna say it again...it's time for the AJE Component of the Month already!  The month of September's component was provided by Kristi Bowman-Gruel .  You can find her gorgeous copper and polymer creations here in her etsy store .  Since Linda was coming to Bead Fest again this year, she brought Kristi's components for many of us to choose, and I chose this one:  The first thing that came to my mind was silk ribbon.  I checked on etsy and found Jamn Glass and purchased these exact silk ribbons.    Photo by Jamn Glass Unfortunately, I haven't received the ribbons yet so I haven't been able to finish my CoM.  However, I thought I would do a work-in-progress post and you can at least see my process until the silks arrive. The first idea I came up with is this one, and this is the one I am actually going with.  As you can see, I drew my design in a notebook that I received from Jenny Davies-Reazor - I love the notebook, and I...

The Leaves are Back!

I haven't been making many enameled beads lately, but the leaves are back!  If you want some, you can find them in my SueBeads etsy store !

Rustic Disc Bead Sets

I just posted some Rustic Disc Bead Sets on my SueBeads facebook page for sale - the price reflects a 15% discount from the normal price of $4 per bead.  You can get free shipping too if you purchase them from the facebook page or directly from here - I will leave the album up for a few days then list on etsy which will reflect a shipping charge and probably no discount since they take a listing and sales fee.  Thanks for looking and please let me know if you want any.  Paypal only please.

Cabochons Listed Too!

I also have a selection of cabochons left from my Bead Fest inventory - some ammonites and also some new arty ones I did.  You can find them in the SueBeads etsy store !

New Headpins and Orphan Shakeup!

I just listed 13 more pairs of glass headpins in my SueBeads etsy store !  Here are some photos! Also, I had listed 20 sets of orphans in my etsy store a week ago.  Since there are 10 sets left, and they are getting bored sitting there, I'm going to shake things up.  I found more orphans, so I'm going to dump them all in a bowl and randomly select orphans to string for more mixed up sets!  I'll let you know when they are ready!

Orphan Bead Sets!

I'm listing about 20 orphan bead sets in my SueBeads etsy store - orphans simply means that they are beads that were either one-offs, beads that didn't match a set in size or color, or were extras from sets.  They are full quality beads, but since I have so many, I listing them at a considerable reduction in price.  Please check them out!
