Mixed pairs polymer clay beads by Zu

Do you know Zu? She makes great polymer clay beads, and sells them on etsy. I found her when I saw the beautiful sunflower beads she made - I had an idea in my head that they would go with some lampwork beads that I had made. We contacted each other, and did a trade! I purchased the sunflower ones (first photo), and traded her two hilton head beach lentils for another set of her pairs (mostly like the second photo). I love them all. Right now, I haven't made anything with them. I just hold them and look at them. She puts so much time into her canes, they are just gorgeous!!! You should check out her shop and blog!

Okay, I have to 'fess up and admit that I'm not normally a huge poly clay fan...with a few exceptions. And these beads are DEFINITELY an exception. They're lovely. I need me some.

They are truly amazing. I can just see them mixed with your wonderful beads. Make sure you post a picture of what you end up making with them :)

Puppies!

I just had to include this photo of my friend Beth's new puppies. They are 11 week old Jack Russell Terriers. The smaller one is the runt of the litter, but too cute. They are Libby and Lucy!!! Click on the photo to see them bigger!

Another quick post!

I know, I'm on a roll today. Even though I got a late start, I've made beads, made posts, done some scrabble tiles, now I have to fold some laundry and think about dinner. Just wanted to post a photo and link to the ebay auction of mine that started last night - I like the beads, they have a southwest feel and would make a fantastic focal piece in a bracelet, or a whole bracelet too!
