I have been staying away from ebay lately, for various reasons, but last night I put up a 7-day auction. Remember those beads I made for a customer, but used the wrong mandrel size? These are them! I listed some more bead sets on etsy - small sets in case you just want to make a nice bracelet for someone special, even you! I wanted to post these pictures because I just love love love these two sets of beads. They were all wound on a 3/32" mandrel, which is a little bit bigger than the ones I normally use. However, the beads are more substantial and would look lovely even on a ball chain or snake chain!

I put some beads in the etsy store and will have more later - some snowballs and the Florence White frosty beads that I love so much! All three sets are perfect for a last minute bracelet for your favorite bead lover! I'll ship same day or next day depending if the mailmail already came! You should get them in time, unless you live in Tuvalu - which would be quite interesting, I think!

Hi - I have some frosty teal beads listed in my etsy store. They are made with Uroboros clear, so the clear doesn't etch but the frit does. It makes for an interesting effect. They were wrapped in pure silver wire. Very pretty!

On another note, at the beginning of December I will be participating in my daughter's school holiday shoppe. I will be taking all my inventory from SueBeads and BellaHannahJane, so if there's anything you want, please purchase it during November. Anything that doesn't sell at the show will be back in the etsy stores, but not right away. I will be going away for a week to a very nice, warm location!

I have some cute halloween-type beads up in my etsy shop right now - check them out. Some people enjoy halloween, but don't necessarily like the pumpkins and bats jewelry - here's where my beads come in! If you are a mom who's going to the school halloween parade, but have an older child, I think you could really make something cute out of these beads! If you are going to a party, but don't want the bats, as I've mentioned, these will also do very nicely! Happy weekend!

Hi everyone - well, it's the weekend, and I for one am thankful that I don't have to get up at 6am tomorrow to get the kids ready for school. I get so tired this time of year, when I'm still going to bed late, but have to get up so early. It's supposed to be a beautiful almost-fall weekend here - lots of yard work to do! Just wanted everyone to know I called the Wildlife Rescue place, and the little squirrels are with a foster mother doing well. I'm so glad to hear that. People here (in PA) aren't allowed to keep wild animals for more than 48 hours, and you have to be certified to be a rehabber, so I'm glad they have someone qualified to take of them!

On the bead front, there's some beads on etsy and ebay, and I'll be at the beach; you can still order beads, but it will just be 2 short weeks before I can get to all the orders! Thanks in advance - I love my job, and you make it possible!

For the month of August, all bead sales will result in a $1.00 donation to standup2cancer.org. Right now, the U.S. is choosing to spend our money on things other than research into illness and disease. Europe does quite well in this arena; however, US doctors are on the verge of discovering treatments and cures for many diseases, cancer among them. Since I am a cancer survivor, I have decided that for the month of August, for each bead sale, I will donate $1.00 to Stand Up 2 Cancer, an organization collecting money to fund cancer research in the US. Please help me make a large donation by buying my beads on etsy, ebay and on my web site! This is a photo of some beads available on etsy!

Well, those beads went pretty quickly, too! Good thing I've been busy making bead pairs for etsy - I have a few listed now, as well as some large hole beads that will fit your Pandora style bracelets! Check them out! I'm also planning on donating $1.00 from each sale of my beads in August to Stand Up 2 Cancer, which I'll be posting about within the next few days. Some of you may not know that I am a cancer survivor - I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 5 years ago. Although with this type of cancer, I never get to say I am "cured", I have been fine since my surgery and radiation and really hope to be fine for the rest of my life!

My kids are off to DC and I am going to Niagara Falls tomorrow - no bead making until Sunday for me - but I have this creative energy that I can't wait to use up! I love to make beads when my kids are with their dad, because I can have uninterrupted creative time!
