Beads of Courage Charm Swap!

UPDATED to add:  There's a small hitch with the eBay auction, new details will be posted as soon as available.

Today is the reveal for the Beads of Courage Charm Swap and Auction, once again hosted by Jennifer Stout Cameron.  This year the theme was Fairy Tales.  This was a bit of a challenge for me.  Until I got this in the mail:

I don't even think this is the one I ordered, but I wasn't going to send it back to the UK and exchange it, so I kept it.  I immediately thought "pot of gold" when I saw that one roller section.

So, I looked up the leprechaun and pot of gold legend and the rest, as they say, is history.

Beads of Courage Charm Swap and Auction!

Each year for several years, Jennifer Cameron has hosted a Beads of Courage benefit - a charm swap and then an auction on eBay.  All proceeds from donated charms go to Beads of Courage.  Today is the reveal and blog hop, and I will give you a link so you can go bid on the wonderful charms on eBay!

Each participant made 11 charms with the theme SOAR - 10 were swapped (we receive one of our own) and one was provided for the auction.  These are my charms!  Lampwork birdies!
I made two colors for the swap, turquoise and red, and I made three for the auction in different colors with heart dangles.

And these are the charms that I received!
1st row - Cassi Paslick, Caroline Dewison, Jenny Davies-Reazor
2nd row - WindBent,Alicia Marinache, Mallory Hoffman
3rd row - Michele McCarthy, Terri DelSignore, Rita Avila

Please visit everyone to see what they made and received.  And please visit THIS LINK to bid early and often on some wonderful charms!

Beads of Courage Auction and Charm Swap!

The other day I posted a teaser photo of the charms I made, and below you will find the teaser alongside the photo of the charms in full view!
I made my charms from glass hearts that I made and heart dangles.  The glass hearts were made of clear glass, which represents the purity of these little kids hearts, and they were etched to represent their medical struggles.  The charm dangles are for extra love!
Below you can see the charms that I received, and I was a lucky girl!

Row 1 - Nancy Dale, Lesley Watt, Terri Del Signore
Row 2 - Rita of Toltec Jewels , Susan Delaney, Jean Peter
