Black Friday Sale NOW!

I decided to start my annual Black Friday sale now!  Why not?  We all need a little savings, and I need a lot of sales!  Use coupon code BLACKFRIDAY to save 20% (yep!!!) in my SueBeads etsy store from now until Dec. 2!  I'll be listing items throughout the sale, and replacing some as well, so if you want something that sold, ask, I may have it!

Enameled Compound Beads

I have recently decided that I am completely left-brained at this time in my life.  Logic and order have to prevail.  I guess that's why I'm not feeling so creative.  But I do love making the beaded beads, which appeals to my left-brain of pattern and order.  I also love creating these compound enameled beads - there is something very logical and mechanical about the steps you go through to make these beads!  I'm listing some in my etsy shop today - I hope you'll take a look and maybe buy some!

Holiday Beaded Beads

I got in the holiday spirit and in addition to making a cute pair of earrings for one of my boyfriend's customers, I made a little pile of beaded beads to offer to you!  I'll offer them here first, $10 per pair, with $3.00 shipping.  Then in a few days they will go in the etsy store!  Also, if you want earrings, let me know! And here's some that could probably be used for Hanukkah or just winter in general!

Brass Key Charms

I made a pile of these brass key charms for my shows over the summer and fall, and just listed the ones I have left in my SueBeads etsy store !  They were popular, they are cute, they are a low-cost item and you should have some for dangles on bracelets or earrings!

Beaded Beads

I have recently become enamored with seed beading. I think it's because I used to like cross-stitch so much and miss doing it.  I gave up cross-stitch when I started making glass beads, and right now don't know of any patterns that would entice me to do it again - my favorite designer retired due to hand issues.  So I have become quite taken with seed beading, and making beaded beads.  I have made so many, in fact, that I decided I should offer them in my SueBeads etsy store !  You can find 6 pairs listed right now, with more to come later today! I think you'll really enjoy my unique color combinations in your jewelry designs.  These make perfect earrings!  Here are some examples of earrings that I have made! If you need a pair of earrings, they are $20 each and I would be happy to sell them to you!

Beads of Courage Auction and Charm Swap!

Today is the big day! Today is the day I can reveal the charms I made and received for the Beads of Courage Charm Swap and Auction - LOVE, hosted by Jennifer Cameron !  Today, you can go to THIS LINK and start bidding on charms - all proceeds go to Beads of Courage !  The other day I posted a teaser photo of the charms I made, and below you will find the teaser alongside the photo of the charms in full view! I made my charms from glass hearts that I made and heart dangles.  The glass hearts were made of clear glass, which represents the purity of these little kids hearts, and they were etched to represent their medical struggles.  The charm dangles are for extra love!  Below you can see the charms that I received, and I was a lucky girl!  Row 1 - Nancy Dale, Lesley Watt, Terri Del Signore Row 2 - Rita of Toltec Jewels , Susan Delaney, Jean Peter Row 3 - Lori Bowring Michaud, Moriah Betterly, Mallory Hoffman Everyone did such an amazing job with their charms, and I ca

Beads of Courage Auction Teaser!

Jennifer Cameron, of Glass Addictions , has been holding a charm swap for a few years now.  Last year, it became a way to raise money for Beads of Courage .  This year, the theme for the charm swap is Love.  On November 15, the auctions on eBay will start and I hope you will all join in the fun by bidding high and often for some really really cute charms for a really really great cause!  I will reveal the charms I made on that day, as well as the charms I received, and provide you with a link for the auction!  Here's a little teaser of what I made!

Bead Show Eye Candy

We recently had an InterGem bead show here in Monroeville, PA, and I could not resist going because I wanted some gems in different shapes.  I was not disappointed!  I thought about going back a second day, but I was good and only got these beads and pearls.  Enjoy the eye candy! The pearls are so gorgeous, I love the big fat chunky ones!  And all of these gems are so pretty with different cuts, my boyfriend bought me the ones on the far right!

Etsy Shop Update!

I did a show last weekend, and I am all done with shows for the year so you are in luck!  I've started a big shop update in time for your jewelry making for the holidays!  Here are some beads I added to the SueBeads etsy store! All the beads in my etsy store are available and ready to ship!  However, PLEASE take a look at my SueBeads web site - this is where I have my made to order catalog and you can get some very nice choices that aren't always in my etsy store!  I'm going to be adding more choices and starting back with the beads of the week special very soon!

AJE Earring Challenge Reveal 21 - Weeks 43 & 44/52

Hard to believe we are well into November already!  I haven't really been keeping up with my blog or jewelry making lately, or my etsy shop for that matter (although I am well stocked now!!!  Take a LOOK !)  I've been on a tear making beaded beads right now, which I really love - I can make them when I am "relaxing" so to speak!  Here are some earrings I made with them! Thanks for checking out our earring challenge - you can go to the Art Jewelry Elements blog to see what everyone else made!
