Sally Russick's Ornament Blog Hop!

The wonderful and talented Sally Russick hosted an ornament blog hop! Since I was having fun making ornaments this season, I thought I'd play along! My partner happened to be Kathleen Lange Klik who is also a very lovely and talented person! I am going to have to steal the photo she shows of the ornament I made for her, because I can't find mine (stomps foot and pouts). Here is what she made me! It's lovely and on my tree right now!
She made the clasp herself, the ceramic bead is Elaine Ray (yum) and she made the hammered square herself as well! I really love it! It looks fantastic on the front of my tree! Here's a list of everyone else who is participating - hop on over and see what they made!

I waited until Kathleen had her post up before commenting, AND boy it was so worth the wait!!! Your ornament with your wonderful glass and the crystals makes such a STUNNING icicle ornament!! STUNNING!!! The tiny accents of green and red are perfect!! Beautiful work, Sue!!

Such a pretty ornament! Red is the best color for Christmas. I love the simple diamond shape that has been hammered to bring out texture and play of light! Enjoy the day!

Sue, the ornament you received from Kathleen is really pretty - I liked it the minute I saw it over on her blog. I think she added the perfect red artbead accent - and the metalwork is great...the perfect combination of jewelry skills used in an alternative way.

Puppies!

Another quick post!

I know, I'm on a roll today. Even though I got a late start, I've made beads, made posts, done some scrabble tiles, now I have to fold some laundry and think about dinner. Just wanted to post a photo and link to the ebay auction of mine that started last night - I like the beads, they have a southwest feel and would make a fantastic focal piece in a bracelet, or a whole bracelet too!
