More Bead Fest!

Better late than never! Two weeks after Bead Fest was over, I'm just posting some photos for your enjoyment!  This sign was what greeted all the Bead Festers when we got off at the Expo exit!  I had to take a photo of it!
This is the me, the first morning.  We set up on Thursday, and went to have an AMAZING dinner at Creed's Restaurant!  It was great - I highly recommend it if you are travelling to Oaks PA for any reason!

The lovely Stacy Louise came and visited my booth on Friday - she brought us all little gifties!  I picked this!

While at Bead Fest, on Saturday, Diana hosted a Bead Swap (see my earlier post) and a giveaway!  I actually won the very last prize - lucky me! - and THIS is what I won!  I was quite excited!  I have purchased several of Lisa's colored metal sheets and now I get to color metal sheet all by myself!

So when I visited her at her booth, I had to purchase a little something to color - this is what I got!

My booth buddy to my left was the amazing, super-talented, artistic, amazing (did I say that?) Jenny Davies-Reazor.  The first time I met her was at ArtBLISS and I really didn't get to spend much time with her, as she's a Sally-ite and I didn't take any of his classes.  We did have a trunk show and I purchased a few of her pieces.  I've known her on blogland, but this was the first time I got to spend some real quality time with her and let me tell you, she is SUPER!  Super-generous, super-nice, super-talented.  Don't think I can say enough about her.  Here's what I got in a trade with Jenny!

Don't you just love that man?  Jenny and I traded beads, because some of our beads were just meant to be together, and at a later date we're going to do a little collaboration with our pieces - I'll be sure to let you know!

Well, this post was long enough for today!  I give you the scoop on the rest of my loot tomorrow.  In the meantime, you can visit all these places by clicking on my links!  Give the girls some love!

Bead Soup Blog Party!

Welcome to the 3rd Bead Soup Blog Party! What is a Bead Soup Blog Party? Each beader was paired up with another jewelry designer and tasked with sending the following: ~ A focal ~ A special clasp (not just a lobster claw) ~ Some coordinating spacers or beads Using the focal and the clasp was mandatory, but we could use anything from our own stash to round out the rest, and choose to use the coordinating beads or not. You may recall my partner was Margot Potter ; click this link to see the blog post I wrote of what she sent me! Here's what I made! Dangly earrings! Come see what the rest of us made! 1. Puppies!

I just had to include this photo of my friend Beth's new puppies. They are 11 week old Jack Russell Terriers. The smaller one is the runt of the litter, but too cute. They are Libby and Lucy!!! Click on the photo to see them bigger!

Another quick post!

I know, I'm on a roll today. Even though I got a late start, I've made beads, made posts, done some scrabble tiles, now I have to fold some laundry and think about dinner. Just wanted to post a photo and link to the ebay auction of mine that started last night - I like the beads, they have a southwest feel and would make a fantastic focal piece in a bracelet, or a whole bracelet too! You can click on them to go to the auction!
